Bamson Company Limited was registered in 1980 and started dealing in Sikkens products in 1983. In 1986 AKZO Sikkens of Holland appointed the Company as its sole distributor and representative in Ghana. It is solely owned by Mr. Kwame Ofosu Bamfo, a Ghanaian.
Bamson is a corporate member of Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana, Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Council.
It has also set up two subsidiary companies – Glostal Aluminium Systems Limited, which specializes in the production and installation of aluminium doors and windows. Glostal also handles the installation of Cape Ceilings. The second subsidiary company is Alisa Hotel Limited.
